Which photos to send for a great orbit
You do not need a professional shoot to get a strong result. What matters is coverage: the more completely the photos describe the property, the better the finished walkthrough can be. Here is the checklist we would follow if we were sending the photos ourselves.
Cover every space
- The front of the property, straight on and from an angle.
- Every room, shot from a corner so the whole space is visible.
- The kitchen from at least two directions.
- Bathrooms, including any feature such as a freestanding tub or a walk-in shower.
- The backyard, balcony or terrace, and any view worth showing.
- Shared spaces for apartments, such as a lobby, pool or gym.
Shoot it properly
- Landscape orientation. Vertical photos leave too little to work with.
- Chest height. Hold the camera level so walls do not lean.
- Lights on, blinds open. Natural daylight gives the cleanest color.
- Original files. Send them straight from the camera roll, not as screenshots or chat-app copies, which are compressed.
Prepare the space
Clear the counters, put away personal items and tidy the floors. It takes ten minutes before the shoot and saves a lot of fixing afterward.
What to leave out
Skip blurry shots, photos with a reflection of the photographer in a mirror or window, and anything with people or pets in frame. When in doubt, send it anyway and mention your concern in the notes, and we will tell you what we can work with.
Send us the address or read how the process works.
